Project Director(s)

Carmen Nevarez

The CDC Office for State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support is working to build the capacity of the public health workforce in Appalachia in an effort to improve health outcomes. The purpose of this project is to provide public health leadership training to a group of public health leaders within the US Virgin Islands.  The program will include a planning phase to customize the training approach and will be tailored to the leadership needs of the target audience.
