Project Director(s)

Dawn Jacobson

The purpose of this project is to assess the impact of the investments in health information technologies and the adoption of meaningful use criteria on the capabilities of state and local public health departments to integrate, share, and report data related to communicable and chronic disease surveillance.  This project will influence public health policy and decision-making by delineating key factors that may lead to greater success for local, regional, and statewide sharing of public health data.
