Join PHI's Alcohol Research Group for the 2017 UC Berkeley Seminar Series, Advanced Alcohol Research

The Advanced Alcohol Research Seminar, offered during the fall and spring semesters through UC Berkeley as course number PH 202G, is part of the training program’s core curriculum and presents current studies and lectures on the basics of methodology, prevention, and epidemiology.

This seminar, currently taught by Sarah Zemore, PhD also features presentations by nationally renowned scientists in the field of alcohol research. “Brown Bag” lunch seminars are also offered where fellows have the opportunities for informal discussions with speakers.

The seminar is offered through UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health with sessions held at ARG’s Emeryville offices, and will cover topics such as alcohol marketing to youth, addiction, impacts of liquor privatization and cannabis legalization, and more. See the Fall 2017 Seminar Schedule.
