Register Today for NASEM's Dialogue about the Workforce for Population Health Improvement

Image: Register for the Dialogue about the Workforce for Population Health ImprovementOn March 21, 2019, the Roundtable on Population Health Improvement of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host a workshop titled a “Dialogue about the Workforce for Population Health Improvement.”

The workshop is open and free to the public. It will take place at the Keck Center in Washington, DC at 500 Fifth Street NW from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm, and will also be available via webcast.

The workshop will explore the broad and multidisciplinary nature of the population health workforce. We hope to cover various topics including the population health perspective among public health and health care leaders, the role of community health workers, as well as discuss how to leverage the competencies of other disciplines to support a “health in all policies,” community livability or a wellbeing orientation to their activities. PHI's Kevin Barnett will also provide remarks the work of the California Future Health Workforce Commission.
