AGALI's Denise Dunning to Speak at UN Foundation's Girl Up Leadership Summit

Denise Dunning, director of PHI's AGALI program, joins an impressive lineup of speakers at the UN Foundation’s 2nd annual Girl Up Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., from June 10 to 12. The Leadership Summit will bring 150 youth supporters from across the United States to focus on its mission of uniting girls for global change.
The summit will feature panels and mentoring sessions with corporate leaders and leading advocates for adolescent girls around the world. Dunning will speak about AGALI’s transformative work empowering adolescent girls to lead advocacy in Africa and Latin America.
The summit's more than 30 speakers come from the public, private and nonprofit sectors, including UN Foundation Global Entrepreneurs Council members; Tina Tchen, chief of staff to First Lady Michelle Obama and head of the White House Council on Women and Girls; Angelica Fuentes, CEO of Omnilife; and Zeenat Rahmnan, special advisor and director of the Office on Global Youth Issues at the U.S. Department of State.
