Turning great ideas into healthier communities

Richard Thompson, MS

Program Director

Richard Thompson, MS Information Systems, is program director at our C/NET Solutions Program.

Since joining C/NET Solutions in 2016, Richard has pursued stabilizing and growing this 35-year old PHI program that provides cancer reporting (state and federal) software to accredited medical institutions. This software provides national and international authorities with the ability to review a wide range of standard reporting metrics on a variety of measures on cancer patients’ diagnoses, treatments, and longevity.

Richard is a member of PHI’s CyberSecurity Committee. The CyberSecurity Committee provides institute-wide standards and verification to ensure data privacy and security.

For the last three years Richard has served on the Board of Directors for the Irish Charity: Foinse. This organization sponsors a biological field station and researchers in Enniskillen/County Cavan, Ireland. The goal is to reforest much of the historical Irish forests that have been clear-cut over the last 150 years.

Richard received his MS in Information Systems from American University (Washington, DC) in 1995.
