Serena Clayton, PhD, MA

Program Director, California Bridge

Serena joined the California Bridge Program in April 2019 as Program Director. She oversees a program team at PHI to advance the vision of the four founders of CA Bridge to make treatment of substance use disorder available 24/7 in all hospitals in California. Serena leads CA Bridge’s strategy, organizational development, and policy work. She came to CA Bridge with twenty years of experience as the executive director of the California School-Based Health Alliance and the California Adolescent Health Collaborative, both started as programs of PHI. She has a consulting practice in strategic planning, management, and interim leadership. Serena has a Ph.D. in Public Health and a M.A. in Education from UCLA.
