California Alliance for Prevention Funding
CAPF's mission is to build a culture of health for all Californians, promote health equity and contain health costs through education and statewide advocacy for new and sustained funding to promote health equity and prevent the leading causes of illness and injury, and premature death particularly through upstream primary prevention.

This project supports CAPF, a statewide coalition of over 20 organizations, which has worked to develop a proposal for a California Wellness Trust to educate stakeholders and policymakers across the state, and to build support for investment of community-based initiatives for health equity and to prevent the leading causes of illness, injury, and premature death to be part of California's approach to health.
