Presented as part of Climate Change and Health: A Framework for Action, this PowerPoint slideset presents the Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative framework developed to examine the upstream factors the lead to health inequities. These social determinants of health have far more influence on health outcomes than do genetics or health care, and are leading drivers of unequal outcomes in health across economic, racial and ethnic differences.
