Build Healthy Places Network
Created by PHI’s Build Healthy Places Network, the Healthy Communities Initiative Tool is a new centralized source that catalogues the cross-sector conferences all over the country sponsored by the regional Federal Reserve Banks. The Healthy Communities Initiative brings together stakeholders and supports cross-sector solutions that promote economic mobility and improved health outcomes.
Over the past 7 years, there have been more than 30 healthy communities conferences convened by the regional Federal Reserve Banks, with more meetings continuously in development.
To highlight and lift up the efforts of the regional banks, PHI’s Build Healthy Places Network has launched a new Healthy Communities Initiative (HCI) site with three resources:
- Browse the meeting directory, which lists each healthy communities conference with summaries, speaker lists, corresponding materials, and more.
- Learn from the “conference-in-a-box” tool, which curates our best meeting templates, examples, and guidance for those who are interested in hosting their own healthy communities meeting.
- Read the HCI blog series, spotlighting each Federal Reserve Bank and the promising cross-sector initiatives taking place in their region.
